We use state-of-the-art technology to monitor your pet’s vital signs throughout all surgeries, and our trained veterinary technicians remain with your pet throughout recovery.  Our veterinarians and technicians carefully monitor the following parameters for every patient undergoing anesthesia:

·      Temperature

·      Heart rate

·      Respiratory (breathing) rate

·      Blood oxygenation level

·      Blood Pressure

·      ECG

·      Carbon dioxide levels.

 

We also place an intravenous catheter for each surgery through which we can give fluids and medications when necessary.  Careful patient monitoring allows us to administer and monitor anesthesia under the very safest conditions.
